The Nicktoons Kai version isn't talked about enough in my opinion, and I love the take on it.

9000 was a mistake but it's so part of internet culture it seems wrong to fix the mistake. 9000 > 8000

Brian Drummond's version is without a doubt the best one and the one that made the line so iconic in the first place.

Unironically the Ocean dub clears them easily. Vegeta's voice in the Ocean dub is pretty good. Kai's is the worst just cause they changed it to 8000 for some reason

Ocean Dub because of the memes. Brian Drummond may not have worked as well when Vegeta eventually became a 'good' guy but he nailed it as evil Vegeta.

I grew up with the Ocean dub when the Saiyan Saga came out but the funimation dub did a much better job and the characters voices were well solidified. In terms of being true to the original Japanese show, Kai wins for sure.

The Kai version sounds like the best though I wish they stuck with the 9000 because that sounds more legendary than 8000

The Ocean dub has nostalgia, but it's clearly wrong. I don't think the mistake is impactfully wrong, but it is what it is. I'm picking the sub regardless.

Fun fact: In the italian dub, Vegeta say "È più di 8000, accidenti!", in English could be like "It's over 8000, damn it!" Ironically speaking, the italian dub was more faithful on the source material then the English one. Another reason to love my country (Italy), Ha ha!

In Ocean, he sounds way more angry about it, then in any of the others, plus because 9000 is more than 8000, it's still correct no matter which one you say.

I don't care if it's inaccurate, gimme Ocean Group. Sabat's Vegeta is great once he becomes a good guy, but Drummond's is way better for Evil Bastard Vegeta. Also, Ian Corlett > Sean Schemmel all day, every day.

Ocean Dub is honestly more iconic. Yes the original manga interpretation said “8000” but it still gets the point across.
