Things were made to inspire, to tell you there is more to the world than common reality; to show you what you and your hands are truly capable of. Cathedrals and other works of art were made to uplift your soul and raise your spirit and thoughts to the heavens. Now, we are left with blank walls. Perfect for boring the mind.

iliterate peasants? Bro they practiced a trade since they were children in a building that probably took hundreds of years to complete. We are talking Beethoven.

Postmodernist art reflects deeply troubled and mentally stressed modern society. We create what we feel.

God and Jesus have blessed me with the opportunity to draw like this. We all have a purpose and inner gifts within our souls. “THE ONLY WAY TO KNOW YOUR DREAMS/IS TO LIVE YOUR LIFE”. VicMartin.

It's unfair to call those that built the chapel on the right illiterate peseants. The majority of the work force might be depending on the period. Those that desgined it anD over saw it's construction, artists, masons, architects etc Would be on par with the phds of modern times

The way I view it - the temple of God is the people, no need to for an adorned building. Rather listen to a sermon on a rock in the middle of a field.
