I was absolutely privileged to visit the govt school in Medipallikalan, near Parigi. It is the best run govt school I have seen in Telangana. The credit goes through the Village and the school principal Kajha Mohiddin. He worked in the same school for 14 yrs and involve the entire village to make it a success. When he was transferred, the whole village protested in front of the collectrate and got him back. Public education system/Govt. Schools in Telangana is totally destroyed. The previous TG govt killed and the present govt is unable to revive it. In the past a majority used to go to govt schools Add few to private schools. It is the opposite now. The community needs to get involved and the community needs to be empowered to have a say in the running of the govt schools. The Medipallikalan Govt. School model needs to be replicated. I want to make at least 50 schools in my constituency, like this one.

This is why I would like to serve as Chancellor of Oxford University - to raise its profile and utility. The Chancellorship could be completely different and better connect with the whole university community. I have the time, commitment and ability to do this, in support of the executive leadership of the university. I would want to meet, get to know and affirm everyone, from Vice Chancellor to the hard working group I met moving mattresses and beds around in one of the Colleges this week - and be the Chancellor for them all. The office of #Chancellor could engage with both the great events of the university but also its people, by getting to invest time in the community and represent its heart and soul. He was caught forcefully having sex with a female student, he jumped through the window, ran away with only his boxers. His car and his belongings were still within the school premises and he is no where to be found till now. He is declared wanted by the school authority. I went in there and this is the best thing that I could have done. I could actually visualise my father’s childhood. It was in emotional visit. My prayers for the students there. May they do well in life and be some great human beings and successful persons.

I see this all the time when I am out and about in the winter, the patent is bundled up and the kid isn’t. Sometimes it’s even as bad as the kid is wearing just a t-shirt. If my kid didn’t have a jacket and I was low on funds I would go without before my kid didn’t have a jacket. Worst comes to worst if I had to get one from a thrift store I would do that too, anything for my kid not to go cold like that. This woman was criticized because she refused to spend $35 for a coat for her kid in the winter. She thinks it’s too expensive. Last winter my kid came home from school in a jacket I didn’t buy him. He already has a few really nice and warm jackets that he picked out at the Polo store. But I guess the school had a program that gave new coats to every child. Was I wrong for this? I made him return it because he didn’t need it. I feel like the coat they gave him could have went to a child that actually needed it. He was fine with it because it wasn’t a brand he normally wears anyways. But I think the school should have been more selective about who they gave these coats too. There are kids out there that go without and could benefit, but my kid isn’t one of them. Am I a jerk for that? There’s been times when I’m walking or hiking in the woods and I hear knocking coming a building, it gives me an eerie vibe like a trapped in the woods kind of feeling. I know I post about this stuff a bit but it truly fascinates me. Like how this man is hearing knocking on the ground in the woods like something underneath him is knocking but it’s solid ground right? The only logical explanation I can think of is it’s reverb from construction or possibly pipes on the ground being worked on. I was at the state park getting a jog in, the surrounding area was flat, I could see far on either side of me. The fields were clear of trees like a new developmental lot. I didn’t have my headphones on, I decided just to go for a jog without them. During the jog it was quiet, except for the sounds of the wildlife, I could tell they were there, it didn’t bother me. However as I progressed I started hearing a screeching noise, it didn’t sound like any animal to me, almost like old metal on metal brakes of a car ready to fail is how I would describe it. I wasn’t worried because as I said before, the area I was at was clear, it wasn’t as if anybody could be hiding along my path, it was just empty, but what made it weird is I couldn’t pinpoint where the noise was and it sounded close yet I couldn’t see anything that could be the source. Just a dirt path and grass. There were trees along the horizon but they were far, too far for that noise to be so close. For the rest of the job I kept my eyes open but to this day I still couldn’t explain what that noise was.

I can’t recall a single lesson on socialism or communism in the entirety of my schooling, from start to finish. And I didn’t even go to government schools. And I’m sure it’s only gotten worse since I was in school. I don’t know how it used to be before my time, but my generation and younger didn’t get properly educated on this subject, and that’s at least partially to blame for the rise in socialism. I guarantee you your average American—especially under a certain age—can’t tell you why socialism and communism are bad. We learn about the horrors of Nazism, Hitler, and the Holocaust, but the rest of the education is sorely lacking.
