Just built this space battle game with Grok 4.5 in Grok Build, and it absolutely nailed it I literally gave it a simple two-line prompt, asked it to research the idea and build the game, and it did the rest A few back-and-forth tweaks, and took a free low-poly spaceship model, and Grok handled the integration surprisingly well....even the sound effects Now I can’t stop playing it. It’s actually super fun. Grok just got even more addictive…

I was hitting my weekly limits in Grok Build too after just 3 days so I asked Grok to fork itself and build a bridge to use my Cursor subscription. 1 prompt. 3 hours of work, 80M tokens later and I got 'cgrok', a Grok Build clone just for myself that can use all models available in Cursor. This is insane dude. You can just let Grok build things customized for you exactly as you want.

Look how much Grok has progressed in just 6 months from Grok 3 to Grok 4.6! As a quick Saturday morning project I gave Grok Build the link to this previous "𝕏 THE GAME" viral (yet ugly) game Grok was able to watch the video, quickly reverse engineer the game, and make dramatic improvements You can play it here (on desktop): Some lessons I learned: - Grok is extremely token efficient. I was able to iterate on the design many times and still kept the token cost surprisingly low (only a few $ to make this game) - Grok is great at working with humans. Instead of just telling it what to do, or on the other extreme having it go off and do something itself, ask for a list of options on how to improve and tell Grok which ones to implement. A true partnership - Anyone can build things these days with AI, no code knowledge needed What are you building with Grok?

Nice thing about Grok Grok Bot is that you can throw any idea into the Grok Bot, even a backburner one. The Grok Bot will just implement it, waiting for you to review. Today I saw my kid struggling to understand how to break down a number into power sums, and I could not find a good video to explain it, so I asked the Grok Bot to make one. It even made a cheerful voice using the Grok voice API.

I hate ads. A plane was flying low over my neighborhood, so I tried to track it and immediately got hit with an ad on Plane Finder. Fed up, I tried rebuilding the app myself. Turns out I could do it in just a few minutes while walking. Skip the ads. Build your own things :)

And here's the Grok Imagine version. Same method as before: I upload my character sheet as the base image that I made with Nano Banana Pro to create this fake omni-reference 😁 It works really well for me, since I just want to casually animate my AI character consistently with Grok. I really love this approach because I can simply load my character reference and focus 100% on writing the scene I want to show.

And here's the Grok Imagine version. BOOMI MY NEW GROK DEVICE! I HAVE Grok ON AN OLD APPLE WATCH MADE IN TO A RETRO IPOD! Still working on it but my goal to have a remote single purpose Grok device has been achieved! With the benefits of posting my grifter slop on to X from this device also (that is another article). And a minimal phone. So how did I do it? First I got this IPod converter kit: it is a beautiful device to hold made of Aluminum. Second I got this app: “Ask Watch AI” it has a free version. Third I got my XAI Grok API Key: Toss a few bucks in the account to fund it. Finally I set up the system by answering questions. This is my first run. I am coding an app for the Apple Watch that will be easier than pressing “done”. I will write a full article on it as soon as I get it done. My goal is to use the cell plan on this Apple Watch and to have a minimal phone and Grok device. Soon these devices will be sent to Starlink. With full Grok Bot and Grok Build. No need for an OS or an App. Obviously this is an Apple Watch but soon it will be a device like this of course with a camera too.

I just set up Grok Grok Bot to remotely control my autonomous robot lawn mower that is 50 miles away. It literally took 2 minutes to set up. I told it to start mowing and it started 3 seconds later. Then I had it dock itself. This is so wild lol. I'm gonna set up my vacuum next, and have a Grok Bot dedicated to controlling and managing all of my autonomous robots.
