Coal is the single largest contributor of global warming. By phasing out coal, we can reduce emissions, protect public health, and halt the progression of climate change. Today’s closure of the Ratcliffe-on-Soar Power Station, the last coal plant in the UK, is a monumental step for the UK to fulfill its commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and reaching net-zero by 2050.

Netherlands: Massive wind turbine crashes to the ground as a result of, you guessed it... the wind. 🤡 Wind turbines: Completely useless when the wind isn't blowing, and apparently even more useless when the wind is blowing. And to think we're closing down all our coal mines and power plants—which provided cheap and abundant energy—and replacing them with these expensive, inefficient and intermittent monstrosities, while China and India build coal plants like there's no tomorrow.

This is Welch, WV located in McDowell County, WV. This used to be the richest county in the United States thanks to the coal industry. This is now one of the poorest counties in the US thanks to Obama’s war on coal. They mined the coal that made the steel for NYC skyscrapers. Then those same people told them to “learn to code” while attacking the people and industry who built their city. What Obama did to southern WV and eastern KY should be considered criminal.

South Australia is a complete shambles—saddled with the highest electricity prices in the nation thanks to those so-called “cheap” renewables. Whenever the wind fails to blow, they desperately import coal-fired power from Victoria’s remaining stations just to keep the lights on. When those stations are shut under the madness of Net Zero, blackouts will be inevitable. You cannot demand a first-world standard of living or host wealth-creating industries in a state that shrugs at “occasional power outages to curb costs.” And still, as Labor wrecks the national economy, living standards collapse, social cohesion disintegrates, crime explodes and corruption digs in deeper—the Labor toadies cheer the destruction.
