EU and ASEAN are two regional organisations that share the same objectives: building peace, stability and prosperity through cooperation and integration. Our collective ambition is to work side by side to keep our regions even more connected to each other and to the world. As we look ahead to the 50th anniversary of EU-ASEAN relations in 2027, we must strengthen and deepen our partnership. Every new trade agreement and new investment is a bridge that reinforces stability and shared prosperity. Because a multipolar world requires multipolar cooperation.
