Left lane divas, as I call them, are horrible and should be ticketed. Not just the truck drivers, all of them.

Slowing down the flow of traffic is just as dangerous, and choosing the appropriate lane for your vehicle/speed is what everyone should do.

I prefer the right lane myself. The problem is that when you politely move over for someone coming onto the interstate, they lollygag (that's what I call them, "lollygaggers") and you can't move back into the right lane until you either significantly slow down to get behind them or they finally decide to speed up and get ahead of you.

@8Xorcist8 Honestly, it's not ever the fast lane. It's the passing lane. I wish people would get out of it unless they're explicitly passing someone (or a group of cars, it's fine to stay in it for a bit) or using it to turn.

It's against the law to camp in the left lane in a lot of states. The left lane is for passing. You can go on YouTube and watch videos of cops pulling idiots over for camping in the left lane.

Yup, and should be used primarily for passing. Even if I am driving 20 over, I still try to limit my use of the left lane for passing only, and also so long as I wouldn't slow drivers down that are already over there

cant condone this. i saw a car full of teens die in front of me because they tried this kind of stunt. They tried passing on the right and there was a broken down car sitting there with a man changing his tire. He died too. not the saddest day of my trucking career, but one of the top 3.

Teenagers aren't known for having the experience to make sure there's no obstructions first. You also have to plan for those next to you speeding up, just to be difficult. As I said, I don't condone it, though I completely understand the impulse. I would get around another way and do it, though

Most are ok imo, and I've had good experiences with many, but there are definitely some that are awful

Going back and forth from Michigan to Louisiana I saw 12 semi trucks that had crashed, including one that was rolled over and on fire. They speed they get in the wrong lanes and they cut people off constantly. Most I wouldn't let drive my car let alone a semi.

As a commercial driver, I must disagree. In my state, the speed limit for trucks is 70. Our buses are governed at 72. Yes, it takes me a little longer to pass, but I have every right to do so, and my passengers deserve on-time service.

Some of those guys go under the speed limit in the left lane forever, not just to pass, though

When you get in front of someone and hit the brakes. Which they did(see the red lights come on) that’s brake checking. Doesn’t mean you slam on the brakes. If he was slowing him down, it’s just as easy that you let off the gas and don’t use brakes.

Its a passing lane , trucks also pass. If anything its the commuter thats often the problem using the passing lane as a regular lane

You can literally see the truck infront pass within a few seconds and merge to the right. Its almost always commuters who drive slowly on the passing lane. This commuter is just retarded thinking the passing lane belongs to them only because they forgot the purpose of the lane

Truck A going 70mph. Truck B going 70.01mph thinks, “I’m gonna pass this slow poke!” Takes 20 miles to pass. Happens all the time.
