She has no role in this. In fact she's been vice president for three and a half years, I've dealt with a number of storms under this administration, she has never contributed anything to any of these efforts and so, what I think is selfish is her trying to blunder into this...Here's the thing -- she has no role -- know, she has no role in this process. I'm in contact with the president of the United States. I'm in contact with FEMA director, I'm obviously managing a lower state agencies. We're supporting our local government and I will say this. I've had storms under President Trump and President Biden and I've worked well with both of them. Agree with DHH that outsourcing your understanding to AI leads to a loss of competence and you then become less capable in the long run. "Whenever I try to use it in vibe coding form, at least when I'm in a new domain I haven't fully internalized, I can feel the competence dripping out of my fingers. And this is, when I started building Omachi, I started writing a lot of bash. ... And I caught myself asking the AI for the oomph time how to do a certain if conditional. You're like, why have I not internalized this? I have not internalized this because I've outsourced it to the AI. Is that better? Am I better off now? Or am I as delusional as the teachers who thought that by the time we got calculators, students no longer need to know their timetables? No. You will actually turn yourself into an idiot if you can't do seven times seven real quick in your head."

This is shameful, and our working families will suffer because of it.

Friends for this Third Sunday in Ordinary Time, our first reading from the prophet Isaiah and our Gospel from Matthew both have a section that’s a little weird. While most preachers skip over these sections to get to the better-known and understandable parts, I want to dwell, on purpose, on the strange parts—and they have to do with the lands of Zebulun and Naphtali.
