In fact she's been vice president for three and a half years, I've dealt with a number of storms under this administration, she has never contributed anything to any of these efforts and so, what I think is selfish is her trying to blunder into this...Here's the thing -- she has no role -- know, she has no role in this process. I'm in contact with the president of the United States. I'm in contact with FEMA director, I'm obviously managing a lower state agencies. We're supporting our local government and I will say this. I've had storms under President Trump and President Biden and I've worked well with both of them. Agree with DHH that outsourcing your understanding to AI leads to a loss of competence and you then become less capable in the long run. "Whenever I try to use it in vibe coding form, at least when I'm in a new domain I haven't fully internalized, I can feel the competence dripping out of my fingers. And this is, when I started building Omachi, I started writing a lot of bash. ... And I caught myself asking the AI for the oomph time how to do a certain if conditional. You're like, why have I not internalized this? I have not internalized this because I've outsourced it to the AI. Is that better? Am I better off now? Or am I as delusional as the teachers who thought that by the time we got calculators, students no longer need to know their timetables? No. You will actually turn yourself into an idiot if you can't do seven times seven real quick in your head."

The third-largest City in the country is now at risk of losing guaranteed investments and returns on those investments because our City Treasurer, someone who swore an oath to uphold the US Constitution, wants to politicize her office. The irony, however, is that on the day the Chicago Board of Ethics spoke of the pitfalls of good government, the Treasurer chose to use her time on the dais to boost her congressional campaign, with taxpayer dollars. This is shameful, and our working families will suffer because of it.
