According to the police record, after drinking and taking an unknown amount of medication, she allegedly pulled a mirror off the wall, and was about to start driving until her husband talked her out of it. A medic was dispatched to the scene and advised that Acton be taken to the hospital to get checked out, but she declined. At the time, she was the director of the Ohio Department of Health. This is not a person who should be leading anything, except maybe an AA meeting.
