After years of frustration in Uganda, our brothers and sisters spend millions of hard-earned shillings to secure jobs abroad, especially in the Middle East. It's sad that instead of their lives being turned around while there, many of them end up suffering abuse like this or even losing their lives. The regime officials supposed to ensure their safety while at those jobs, are in many cases the same people who either run the Recruitment Agencies that put our people in this danger, or shield the Agencies from being held accountable. For as long as we're still under the Museveni regime, anyone who expects the situation to get better is simply mistaken. It will only get worse until WE put an end to it! #BringBackOurPeople #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners

That means: Data center companies, not Michigan families, pay for their own energy and grid upgrades – so rates don't go up. Data centers can't harm our water, air, or environment. Data centers pay their fair share in taxes to fund our schools, roads, and communities. Data centers are built with local union labor.
