While not as impressive militarily as the US, Finland (another fascist republic) has retained the practice of annual military parades since the founding of our armed forces. This was last week on the 4th june in honor of Mannerheims birthday, the FDF's flag day.

At least the Finns know how to march in time instead of some half-assed lurch.

A lot more practice is put on preparing men for these parades than in the US military. Its on par with training with your rifle to walk in rhythm together with the company.

Frankly it comes across as quite underwhelming. We should have a proper parade unit with well-tailored uniforms.

I like the old dress uniforms as well but dont think our current ones are bad in the slightest. It would be more impressive however to have 3 companies march side by side instead of one after the other.
