While on Airbnb's design team, I introduced the idea of using 3D characters from the Airbnb brand to represent guest capacity. The idea simply came out of my desire to add visual interest and a bit of humor to an otherwise utilitarian tool.

Scratching my head on this one. I guess the idea behind the design is to bust up the rootball? I don’t know much about stalk flatterers but wouldn’t this add a ton of unneeded stress on the header frame and feeder house?

Bit of a Sunday experiment, I implemented an xBR4 effect. Since the Sea Sniffers art uses lots of straight lines, it's super clean. Why am I implementing this in a pixelart game? I have an idea of using it as part of a certain gameplay aspect, kind of as a visual polish thing. You'll just have to wait and see :p

Another example of a quick, throwaway visual tool that I vibecoded to explore an idea (this time with Claude Fable). It exports video loops, and I can play around with colour, grain, direction... Took around 5 prompts and gave me a massive head start on a brand identity direction.

Some of my storyboards from the opening of The Wild Robot. I liked the idea of the first shot in the film (after the pull-out from her eye) being Roz in a fetal position for "The Robot Hatches." But the idea got lost as it went through the production pipeline. I ended up using some stock photography and videos for some of the water in this scene. I think because the environment was such a character for us in these opening scenes. The photography seemed to help me to sell the contrast between Roz and the wilderness.
