Who, beyond the well-known and much-profiled Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Zohran Mamdani, and Jon Ossoff, are the young people most likely to rebuild the Democratic Party? The bright lights of the next generation don’t fit into easy classifications. They include a seminarian, a waitress, an oysterman, and a semiconductor heiress. There are Bernie-endorsed socialists and iconoclastic centrists. Some are eyeing a national stage, others are staying adamantly local. Some already have a decade of experience; others are fresh upstarts proving themselves. We spent months talking with professionals who recruit and support young candidates to identify the party’s next generation, and we called dozens of political operatives, consultants, and strategists—and granted them all anonymity so they could dish about the nominees candidly. The nominators didn’t all agree, and, of course, had their own perspectives and agendas, but through those conversations, we found the 25 most promising rising Democratic leaders who have yet to become household names. Armed with our list of politicians under 40, photographer Elinor Kry hit the road in a minivan to meet and photograph a dozen or so of the next generation of Democrats. Kry shot her portfolio over a month, hauling a tufted armchair onto boats, truck beds, football fields, construction sites, and suburban cul-de-sacs to capture these officials and candidates on their home turf. PUBLIC CAUTION 🚨 "This is to alert the public about a girl who identifies herself as Audril Perkins, or Akos (suspected false name), who advertises online as a househelp/domestic worker. She was employed on Saturday, 17/01/2025, mainly to help care for and feed our two children, as my wife has been away for sometime. She came with a very small handbag with only few clothes in it, which was unusual for a live-in help. She also had very long hair, long nails, lashes, and inappropriate attire. I immediately made it clear that she would need to dress appropriately and remove the hair, nails, and lashes, which she obliged and did by the next morning. This made me lower my guard as I thought she was a good person who just needed some guidance, since she appears very young. She said she’s 19, completed SHS and from Kumasi, but in Accra to seek for a job. She’s squatting with a friend in east legon while on a job hunt. I requested that she comes along with a family/guarantor, and she said her Mom will accompany her but later claimed when she arrived that her mom was attending a funeral and would visit the coming weekend with her belongings. She provided a phone number for her mother (0596143081), but I called 3 days continuously but there was no answer. I asked her about it and she mentioned that her mom is forgetful sometimes and might have misplaced her phone but she would give me her sister’s contact instead, unfortunately I forget to follow up instantly. At this point she had only lived with me for only 4 days. By the time I returned, I found that she had broken into part of the wardrobe and fled, carrying my wife’s large luggage bag filled with, Clothes, Handbags, Perfumes, Cash, Jewelry, etc. The incident has been reported to the police, and shes captured on CCTV carrying the bag out, all relevant evidence have been submitted. She is advised to report herself and return all stolen items, as the matter is now with the Ghana Police Service. By Tuesday, 20/01/2026, I noticed suspicious behavior: She spent excessive time locked inside the room. She never “slept” with the lights off and She had to unlock the door from inside each time I called (I assumed perhaps she’s had some bad experience in the past which has prompted that, so I didn’t think much of it ) On Wednesday morning, 21/01/2026 I went to the kids room just to check around and I discovered my wife’s old clothes carefully hidden under and around the bed. When questioned, she gave an unconvincing explanation but the kids were getting late for school so I asked her to return the clothes to the bag she picked them and said we would discuss it after I return from dropping the kids at school. At this point she had only lived with me for only 4 days. By the time I returned, I found that she had broken into part of the wardrobe and fled, carrying my wife’s large luggage bag filled with, Clothes, Handbags, Perfumes, Cash, Jewelry, etc. The incident has been reported to the police, and shes captured on CCTV carrying the bag out, all relevant evidence have been submitted. She is advised to report herself and return all stolen items, as the matter is now with the Ghana Police Service. The endless talks we had about comics, anime and gaming, always comparing notes on each topic and promising we’d squad up on Marvel Rivals next offseason when we both have time. Time… the thing we tell ourselves we have but never truly do. 💔 The talks we had after you had a tough game or practice, or injury, still smiling, always smiling; and outwardly the eternal optimist even while you fought those demons that I am personally all too familiar with. Mine nearly claimed me as well. You fought them in the dark while always being the light for others, and that is your legacy: selflessness, graciousness, humility, kindness, authenticity and compassion. Category Labs is proud to introduce Cadence, our multiple-concurrent-proposers (MCP) consensus protocol that matches the optimal good-case latency of single-leader consensus while supporting arbitrarily short block intervals. When combined with BTX, our design for encrypted mempools, this represents a significant step towards solving the problem of MEV at the protocol level. In nearly every blockchain today, a single party ends up in control of each block: it decides which transactions get in, and can reorder them at will. MCP is the natural fix, but most recent designs pay for it with a separate aggregation phase, adding two extra communication rounds per block. Cadence makes the proposers part of consensus itself. Its fast path finalizes in an optimal three communication rounds, even when proposers are offline. Cadence also offers speculative finality, similar to MonadBFT, after just two rounds, revertible only if a proposer provably equivocated. In a simulation using estimated network delays between Monad mainnet's 200 globally distributed validators, finalization takes 219 ms on average, speculative finality 167 ms. Cadence pushes pipelining to the extreme: each block is proposed and finalized in its own independent consensus instance, without waiting on preceding blocks. The block interval then becomes a protocol parameter that can be arbitrarily small. At our initial target of 100 ms, a transaction waits on average just 50 ms to enter a proposal, and oracle prices, liquidations, and auctions can update every 100 ms. Cadence dynamically throttles the opening of new instances to bound the number of outstanding slots even during periods of network instability. When the network is healthy (under synchrony), a transaction included by an honest proposer can be neither dropped nor deferred (short-term censorship resistance), and no proposer can see the others' proposals in time to react (hiding). We prove both, together with safety and liveness under partial synchrony at the optimal 3f+1 fault bound. The Cadence protocol is modular: each module is simple on its own, and any of them can be swapped out without touching the rest. Cadence also builds on components already being deployed: proposals are disseminated as erasure-coded chunks over Deterministic RaptorCast, now rolling out on Monad, and validators vote on proposal digests, so voting does not wait for the full data to arrive. The “I never wanted any of this to be public or content” Lie, A Timeline I never wanted any of this to come out. Except I actually mean that. It’s embarrassing, it’s trashy, and it’s the opposite of how I want to present myself publicly. I stayed silent for months while lie after lie was spun about me behind the scenes because I didn’t want to air private, messy moments from a relationship I genuinely cared about. I stayed silent out of fear, because I was told no one would believe me because he would be blindly believed on his large platform. In one of our very last conversations before I blocked him everywhere mid-October, he threatened to do a show on me, contact my employer, and “turn me into the next Lindsey”. Why? Because I didn’t want to continue apologizing to him for the 300th time about venting to someone I thought was a friend. I stayed silent because of these threats. But after Wednesday, after Chelsea posted the private video Aidan gave her, (the same one he threatened me with directly back on 10/2), and after the gaslighting, I don’t have a choice anymore. So here is the timeline. Here are the receipts. Here is what actually happened. September-October 2025- I Stayed Silent Through Months of Smear Campaigns For months, several creators repeated the same false narrative that “Aidan never said a bad word about Meredith.” Jess. November 26-27, 2025- Ratchet Chelsea: The Full 48 Hour Meltdown 11/26/25— The Unprovoked Attack & The March 4 Video On Tuesday night, Chelsea came out of nowhere and launched herself straight at me, accusing me of all kinds of conspiracies from harassment to the horrific crime of sending a friend request, which is explained in vivid detail in the below post (she’s since gone somewhat viral, love this for her!) She spent the next 24 hours thoroughly embarrassing herself and the moment anyone challenged her story even slightly, she did what she always does: she imploded. Her accusations spiraled into her posting the March 4 video. On 11/26/25 at 11:08 PM, Chelsea posted the first clip–a blanket, context-less snippet of me drunk saying something I immediately apologized for the next morning. At 11:50 PM, I responded because at that point, I had no choice. 11/27/25— The 9-Minute Backpedal Then on Thanksgiving, Aidan tried to save face by posting that he “didn’t want the video to be public.” And like clockwork, nine minutes later, Chelsea came charging into the comments like a Temu-sponsored bat out of hell, scrambling to apologize, trying to rewrite reality so it looked like he didn’t send her to do it. It was panicked, sloppy damage control. An amateur quality cover-up attempt that only made it more obvious how coordinated this all was. She wasn’t apologizing because she grew a conscience. And she literally wrote at 4:04 AM that she had “proof,” videos & screenshots she would release if I didn’t “stop calling” her, calls she still hasn’t produced a single shred of proof of.
