While people complain about long anime fights, I think it has its charm that gets overlooked, most especially in older shows Yamamoto vs Squalo from Katekyo Hitman Reborn is one of the few good examples that don't get mention often. It has emotional stakes and unique strategies.

Old is Gold It is true that Wano has taken the One Piece anime to the next level, but we should not forget our roots. This Luffy vs. Lucci sequence came out almost 2 decades ago and it still looks pretty good even by today's standards. Lucci vs. Luffy is definitely one of the best fights in all of One Piece.
