He told me “there’s too many people doing bad things”, and I couldn’t agree more. Yet, I probed him four times to answer why his leader, Nigel Farage, wanted to drag us into the war with Iran. He couldn’t answer a single time. Reform UK’s flip-flopping proves they have no serious plan for governing. It’s a stark contrast to our Prime Minister, who is prioritising Britain’s national interest at all times.

Reform UK promise to reverse the Boriswave and hold an inquiry into who was responsible for bringing millions of third-world migrants to Britain after Brexit. How can they do this when their party is full of former Tory ministers and Boriswave migrants? Are they going to imprison their own MPs and deport their own councillors? Reform will also replace ILR with a renewable five-year work visa, keep the care workers that Boris imported against the advice of the Migration Advisory Committee, and refuse to repeal citizenship grants — which the Boriswave are eligible for starting this year. So, they won't send them home. We can't trust the arsonists to put out the fire. Reform has no credibility or intent to reverse the Boriswave and hold the culprits accountable. But I'm sure Zia Yusuf is happy at the prospect of sinking Robert Jenrick's chances of being Nigel Farage's successor.

He had a chilling effect on criticism of immigration and Islam. He disparaged critical friends, insulted its new MP Sarah Pochin, and deterred new talent from joining Reform despite its poll lead. The sting has to be taken out of the conversation and language has to change if there is to be a 'common way forward' at this stage for Lowe and Farage. Of course it is not easy to walk away from the perceived 'transgressions' for either party, but if they are honestly thinking of the 'good of the country'? then clear this a hurdle they must and clear it well in order to progress. Rupert Lowe is publicly not having any of the 'magnanimus' language or pragmatic message from Reform's Zia Yusuf whilst talking to journalist Dan Wootton today. At this stage it is very clear that Reform and Restore need to have mediators or neutral third party interventionists if any alliance can get out of the traps. As critical as I've been of Mr Yusuf, he comes across as the more reasonable and affable here in this second hand exchange, presented to him by Mr Wootton. Mr Lowe has instigated a 'common way forward' which is a work in progress, but good on him for making the initial effort. However if Mr Lowe wants an alliance or any sort of co-working he's going to have to delegate it out to someone who has his best interests and that of Restore and the UK at ALL times. But now, Zia Yusuf, cosplaying as Shadow Home Secretary, is repeating verbatim Restore's talking points on immigration and Christian heritage. Reform are promising mass deportations — the same policy Nigel Farage called "very grave, dark and dangerous", and expelled Rupert from the party for proposing. Laila Cunningham insists Britain is a secular state, while Zia Yusuf says Christianity is "core to the history and the DNA of the country”, and without it "the country is not a country, it’s just an economic zone."
