The Islamic regime in Iran cannot be allowed to keep its enriched uranium. For decades they’ve been trying to build a nuclear bomb. They currently have 60 percent enriched uranium. From that level, they can get to 90 percent which is weapons-grade in a week or so. That’s why America and Israel had to act when they did. So the real question is: what happens to that uranium? There are only two real options. Either Iran gives it up peacefully, or someone has to go in and take it by force, because this is not something that can just sit there for the Islamic regime to keep.

It’s funny that the GOP even has to be concerned about Texas - it shouldn’t even be a consideration if they were doing a good job. The time for a “woke tweets” election is long gone. Especially when the Republican options are either corrupt and a philanderer or part of the old Republican guard that hasn’t delivered for Texans. James Talarico’s philosophy is simple: Texans have suffered under one party rule for too long. Plus his policies aren’t even leftwing! Public and private healthcare options. A fair immigration system and a secure border. Painting him as extreme won’t stick when his policies aren’t.

If people want to discuss how much foreign aide we give to ALL countries, sure let’s have a discussion about that. But why are we trying to advocate for socialist policies on the conservative, right? Tucker Carlson is—to put it bluntly—transing himself into a leftist. Tucker announced that he is leaving the Republican Party. "I would not support the Republican Party. There's no chance I would support the Republican Party. I'm not going to support the Democratic Party. I don't know what I'm going to do. But at this point, you know, how could you support, how could I or any American voters support a political party that's not loyal to the United States? That puts the interests of a foreign country above those of its own citizens. Like, that's, that's, you know, it's not possible to vote for people like that." Here's the point that needs to be made about that statement by Tucker Carlson. He said he would not support the Republican Party, nor is he going to support the Democrat Party and that's where I would challenge everyone to pause our thinking for a moment. If you refuse to vote for the Republican candidate, then you are, in effect, joining the Democrats. This is not some abstention that gives you moral high ground, because you don't 100% agree with the Republicans, or 100% agree with the Democrats, so you can't in good conscience, cast your vote because it might feel like an implicit endorsement of things that you don't agree with. No, no, no. If you do not vote for a Republican, you are, in effect, giving your opponent, the Democrats, a vote. Surrendering your vote gives your opponent an increased chance of winning because we are in a binary system. Either their values will prevail, or our values will prevail. I never thought my first labor award would come from Republicans. I was raised Democrat. Taught to lean Democrat. Never taught to be Republican. And yet — here I am, a Black man from Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, whose entire lane is labor, unions, and worker advocacy, receiving the Dorothy Day Award. For those who don’t know, Dorothy Day was a fierce labor activist who stood with workers, the poor, and the marginalized — even when it wasn’t popular or politically convenient. What’s ironic is this: They say Republicans don’t care about labor. They say they don’t care about unions. They say they don’t care about Black people. Yet my first real recognition came from them — not the party that claims to be “pro-labor,” while keeping laws like the Taylor Law on the books that punish workers for exercising real power. So I’m grateful. And I’m honest enough to say I’m surprised. Thank you to the Kings County Republican Club for recognizing the work — not just for the members I represent, but for working people across NYC and beyond. Labor isn’t red or blue. Labor is about who actually shows up.
