💬 The album (ARIRANG) is so good, but imagine how much better it would be if it had just a few more writing credits by you! 🐹 I do think it would have been better. But the other members did a beautiful job. 🐹 Plus, if I had been greedy and pushed the whole session just so I could add my own songs, this interview would be happening months from now. 🐹 Wouldn’t the fans be too bored during that time? 🐹 Sure, I’m a little bummed, but there’s more to life than just the present-there’s the future. And I believe there will always be more opportunities. 🐹 So I’m a little disappointed, but that was the best choice I could make at the time.

🐹 I haven’t talked about this anywhere else, but the truth is I didn’t write any of the songs because I was still on my solo tour at the time. 🐹 When I arrived at the studio, there were a hundred-something songs already made. 🐹 So then I test recorded the best of them. And that took about 7-10 days. 🐹 Once that was done, the whole process was over. 🐹 The recording was scheduled about 3 months in advance and my tour was scheduled much earlier than that. So the timing just didn’t work out. 🐹 I was worried our fans would be bored while everyone was in the military, so there I was soothing the hearts of our fans. 🐹 Meanwhile, all of the songs got made.

💬 What changed the most after your debut? 🐹 My mindset changed to be a bit better. 🐹 Before I was thinking, “Wouldn’t I just do this for about 7 years and then stop?” 🐹 But as I kept doing it, it gradually became fun and I became more sincere. 🐹 I’m also very grateful to the fans. 💬 When was a moment you couldn't hold back your laughter? 🐹 During our concert, there's a part where two of our past songs play randomly. 🐹 While moving, I met eyes with Jungkook and we did a pretty tough move. 🐹 We got competitive, thinking “Who can hold this tough move longer?” 🐹 So, we ended up doing it for about a minute and 30 seconds to 2 minutes from the far end of the stage to the middle of the stage, I think. 🐹 I remember my legs went numb after that, and I couldn't stand up. 💬 So, who won in the end? 🐹 Jungkook won. I was just too exhausted. These three are my must-haves. 🐹 On the PlayStation, I play a game called “Nioh.” I'm just about to confront the final boss now. I'm a bit stuck there at the moment. 🐹 I was facing the final boss during a layover in the US. I had a brief layover, like ten or 20 minutes and I managed to connect my Playstation and play there too. 🐹 I reached the final boss during that layover but the thing is, I only play PlayStation when I'm on tour. 🐹 So, I hope to beat the final boss on my next tour.
