Some real conversations are had on this platform. Everything this brother is saying is legit. As men we supposed to hold all these emotions in and pretend that everything is OK. He is expressing his pain through his divorce, This can help the next person make it through.

Great vulnerability. I hope The Pivot brings on a licensed therapist/psychologists once in a while to discuss these topics. I say this as a black man finishing up a counseling PhD who has black male classmates that focus on black athletes.

He spoke the same words that I say when I talk about my divorce. The isolation is where you find your strength, through the Love of God. Finding the will to move forward through the love of our babies. His comeback is going to be a phenomenal story.

Dealing with it alone is the worst. We all need someone or somebody to decompress with.

When he said I am that dude I felt that brother make the comeback then 🤟🏾 conquer while healing

I’m so sorry that we have made black men feel this way. It’s not ok 🥹🙏🏽

Thank you for this expressing the moment of transparency that more men need to express but also need a safe space to do so.

Their divorce really hurt Me, I loved Cory and Tia together. I pray GOD will heal their hearts and give them the grace to raise their children well 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Sitting still

Every time I see his ex… she looks empty… but try’s to smile thru it… she not gonna find another man that loves her like this man did…
