We uploaded several hours of our prior talks to train our voice model and the results were pretty incredible. It was a nice change having our vet call ME on the weekend for once - this time looking for someone to take on an orphaned foal whose dam sadly passed and her nurse mare had rejected her. There are a lot of people behind this little filly’s story. Her breeder made the hard call to give her a chance instead of euthanizing. And the nurse mare’s amazing owners poured themselves into trying to save her, all while grieving the loss of their own foals. At a certain point, they knew they were exhausted and didn’t have the ideal setup or time to give her what she needs, and selflessly chose what was best for her, not what was easiest for them. They didn’t hand her off lightly, and they wouldnt’t hand her to just anyone - which makes their trust mean that much more. Between two bottle calves and a bottle lamb, we figured… what’s one more? Trifecta achieved. This sweet little Appendix filly is settling in well. She’s going to take a lot of time and work, but we’re grateful for the opportunity to give her a place where she can grow, thrive, and just be a horse. $FTP (Feed The People) is all about making the world a better place. So many people in this world get overlooked and walked by, and we are taking the opportunity @pumpdotfun has given and putting it into action. In the first 4 days, we’ve: - Fed and sheltered over 3,000 people - Helped someone in need get into a recovery home - Donated to a lovely mother of 6 named Josie to help out with her food and rent. Thanks to the community we've built and the platform we are on for making this all possible. This movement is only getting started. We are live every day and have big things coming, and more lives to change. Sol feeds Souls. ❤️🌎

And that's because cows are carbon negative” “They produce more oxygen than they put off methane and carbon. It means to eat more cheese burgers or steaks. Beef, to save the world.” “According to a 2023 University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) report, beef production can be climate-neutral or even better if management practices are optimized to minimize emissions and maximize abilities to store carbon. Some of the ways UNL research suggests that cattle’s carbon footprint can be reduced include: Diet: Cattle that eat more forage and added fats produce less methane and other greenhouse gases than those that eat more grain and less forage. Fat supplements can also reduce the need for grain. Production efficiency: Improving production efficiency can result in more cattle being marketed or more live weight being produced while using fewer resources. This can be achieved through breeding, feeding, and health programs. Supply chain: Buying feed that’s grown nearby can reduce shipping emissions.”
