In this episode, Dinesh discusses the agenda of the two parties in connection with Ukraine, the party of war and the party of peace. Dinesh uses the example of a shutdown of a clinic in India to explore why USAID policies are so destructive. Ryan Helfenbein, who runs the Standing for Freedom Center at Liberty University, joins Dinesh to discuss threats to freedom at home and abroad.

Here’s what could get more expensive with Trump’s new tariffs.

I would rather other countries pay us than taking our money in taxes. Works for me.

They're not really Tariffs when all they are doing is equalising trade charges.

Taxes are not good. Tariffs are a negotiation tactic. Neither good nor bad they serve a purpose, the result of the negotiations are the good or bad. While taxes are designed just to take or penalize a tariff is used to make a change, not meant to be permanent unlike a tax.

If tariffs aren't good then why does every other country have them? And in most cases at rates much higher than we tariff them. They must be worth something right (rhetorical)?

You do realize most countries charge tariffs. Look at Canada import Tariffs 270 percent on dairy products...

Tariffs combined with lower or no personal taxes will bring 1000 s of companies back to America

Tariffs are actually very good. They funded our government for almost 150 years

Tariffs are a way of showing our trading partners that we will no longer be taken advantage of and that we mean business. I don’t think Trump or anyone for that matter thinks tariffs are a good long term plan.

Tariffs are not in and of themselves either good nor bad. They are certainly protectionist. Under our current Rube-Goldberg machinery of trade arrangements, other countries impose punitive tariffs on our products. We must have reciprocity
