While the ending wasn't explicitly romantic yuri, I m still glad atleast it was her love for Mari that saved the day...Though its a very ominous and bittersweet ending, why did Lara leave? I feel like we need a second season #さよならララ #GoodbyeLara

imo while lara love mari the anime try to tell a story where lara become her own person and doesnt get bounded by one thing only she love baking she love to explore human she love mari fam and a lot of thing. there are more to life than your crush after all.

Yess I am all in for independent Lara! I just feel a void in me because of the rushed epilogue 🙁I wish we saw more interactions of Lara with Mari's family, bakery etc before the departure

They should at least give us a movie, I think a second season would stretch things too far or try to add more stuff in the manga or novel(I don't have high hopes on the novel)

個人的解釈ですが、このままだとララは茉里の庇護下で暮らすことになり、それをララは良しとしなかったのでしょう。ララにとって茉里の居る世界で生きることが重要であり、一緒に居ることは必ずしも必要ではない。ララの成長を感じましたし、彼女の選択を尊重したいと思います。

Havent watched the show coz i waited for the ending. This ending is not that bad for me. They promised to stay together no? But realisticly speaking, human needs to work, etc. As a new "human", she needs to learn how to be one so she doesnt become a burden for Mari later on.
