She almost has eyes like a shark 🦈 you can tell she’s alive however there’s an emptiness there that’s hard to explain but you know it when you see it. Rescued in June, Kipekee lost her mother to human-wildlife conflict. She arrived at our Nursery in very poor condition, and it has taken round-the-clock care to nurse her back to health. She was able to attend on her grandma's cremation. When she was little her grandma would take her out to eat and spend time with her. Despite having illness, she was incredibly strong. She never gave up. She stayed active, ate with the family, exercised as much as she could. Even when she couldn’t walk, she still went out to make merit, to enjoy life and that inspired Freen so much.
