Interesting Game mechanic.

How?

How? Why? Wow

talk about using others to elevate you

That's so cool! Maybe we can give life to all the spam bots here too lmao

They are just huge fans of indie games I think

Wait until they rebel

That's so cool and fun! I am just concerned, will the NPCs mind being turned into objects? They are giving their consent for it right?

But how? Do we use the same Godot?

I use unity for my game :v

Sad. So back to the question, HOW? Some conundrous trickery with inheritance?

Each object is a prefab variant of one core object So with effects like this, it uses the same system for each object to make them come to life The only difference is that NPCs have a different visual system, so when destroying them I just turn that off and turn on the 3d object

Might want to put "making of" on YT at some point, because that's quite intricate use of prefabs

iv made a few videos about specific aspects, but once rhell releases i would like to make a more detailed full video

Thanks a lorrybox bunch! I'm sure I'll find something I can get inspired by for my own project, except it's majorly opposite in terms of magic 🤠 and also get surprised even more that amount of talented Unity devs suddenly spiked for no reason

How? Wow Yes!
