It's also the time of year when people donate to charity and we wonder if any of our friends will remember the work that Ernestos does for the animals in war torn Syria? 3 hours drive from us, war is still being fought. Today Palmyra was bombed and 68 people are dead. No one counts the animals. Because we are not under bombing in Idlib, people have stopped donating and we are facing a huge crisis in our funding. There is no improvement in the lives of the animals in Syria, and without funding we aren't able to help them anymore. We cannot send our mobile clinics out, because we have no funding. We cannot feed street animals because we can't afford to. We cannot send out rescue teams. We have lower donations now than we have ever had and our essential costs are the same now as they were before December 8th when the regime fell. Please, please will you reconsider reinstating your cancelled donations and giving us your support again? Without you we cannot help any of the ones who desperately need our aid. Soon we may need to reconsider our mission in Syria. We have always shared our good and bad news with you. Just now, our options are slowly disappearing.

Another beautiful video from our team in Idlib, Syria. Please don't think that much has improved since the liberation of Syria. It hasn't. We need your support more than ever - and so do the animals of Idlib. They need you. Maybe more now, then they ever did. We will carry on saving as many lives as we can for as long as we can. After that we have extremely hard decisions to make. We are actively vaccinating against rabies and protecting against deaths in humans and animals. Day after day and week after week. As we have have always done. As we promised we would, 10 years ago. Feeding, castrating, neutering, protecting and caring. In the strong and certain belief that every small life is as important as ours. Sanctuary family, we need your prayers for our sweet girl Missy. 🐾 After discovering a lump on Missy’s belly, we brought her in for a biopsy and we learned that it is cancerous. She is scheduled for surgery this Monday, and we are covering our girl in prayer, declaring the blood of Jesus over her and believing in full healing and recovery 🙏 Missy is deeply loved here at the Sanctuary, and we are praying for many more days of love, treats, and time together. ❤️ We are so grateful for our Sanctuary family who always stands with us in prayer and support. We are so proud of Ernestos today. Our team have worked so hard in Aleppo. The reception from the people of Aleppo was heart warming and the numbers of animals we helped was just fantastic. We want to help more - but for this we also need your help. The amount of vaccines and medicines and food and anaesthetic we are going to need is immense. So we are opening a fundraiser on our website - - where you can buy a vaccine for just 10 euros and we have increased our Justgiving fundraiser for the same reason. 10 euros is such a tiny price to protect a cat or dog from dangerous viruses. Please will you help us to help more animals? Life has been very bad to them over the last years. Let's now show them the kindness of Ernestos and our amazing supporters.
