While this Labour government slashes £2 billion from disabled people, they’ve managed to find billions for war. Billions for defence spending and for endless foreign interventions. Money for war, but not for the poor. My full speech against the disability cuts:

There’s always cash for conflict, but crumbs for the vulnerable. “Tough choices” only ever hit the poor.

There wouldn’t be any welfare spending if we were invaded and then occupied by an enemy state. Defence must always come first.
