ANAMBRA STATE: The Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Ikioye Orutugu, and the Anambra State Police PRO, SP Tochukwu Ikenga — officers whom Naija Confra once held in high regard — are now becoming some of the worst performers when it comes to handling cult-related violence, and we sincerely hope they begin to change their approach. Naija Confra praises people when they do well, but also call them out when they fail in their duties. Since the initiation of a 3-year-old baby by DNKI (Vikings) cultists on October 15 in Nsugbe, Anambra State, the Anambra State Police Command has done absolutely nothing about the case — no statement, no investigation update, and not even a single post on their social media pages. Meanwhile, when it was initially thought to have happened in Delta State, the Delta State Police Command acted swiftly and effectively. This unseriousness from the Anambra State Police may eventually allow these criminals to escape from the country. It was this same Anambra where, on March 29 midnight, security operatives busted an NBM (Aye) cult initiation, yet the leader of the group, who organized the initiation that saw many di£, is still walking freely and now even heads a faction of the cult group nationally. All the young boys seen in this video with “TH” (Temple Head) written on their caps are Black Ax£ (Aye) cultists who are number 1 men of their various schools. They are all students, although there have been cases where non-students lead cult groups in schools. Their number 1 positions are given based on their money or the connections they have with their Zonal Heads (ZH), who are the state NBM cult leaders. In today’s Aye, some school Kpoi (number 1) even become number 1 in the same year they joined the cult. This is due to the changes made by the last NBM cult leader named Ese Kakor (Ring Light Kpoi) to make more money. In the past, it was their cult god named “Korofo”, who their members consulted spiritually to choose their leaders, but today, they have given Korofo Whisky and Colos, instead of Kokoma (their cult drink), and Korofo is now sleeping and no longer speaks to their chief priest. While condemning the killing of some of our brothers from the North by Vigilantes in Edo State who were on transit from Port Harcourt to the North , the following questions must be answered . 1 Are the victims really hunters ? If as it is claimed that they are hunters in Rivers State do they have hunting license from the Rivers State Government having paid.the required hunting fees to qualify them as hunters in the eyes of the law ? 4. Were the victims residence of Rivers State by proof through their NIN, drivers licence or any other means of identification ? Beecause to hunt in Rivers State you need to be a resident of the state. 5. Did the victims complete a hunter education course to establish their competence ? 6 When the victims were confronted in Edo State , where they were found in possession of guns ? if they were, what type of guns? Shotguns (single/double-barrel, pump-action, semi-automatic) and hunting rifles are , categories of guns allowed for hunting by law but if the victims were found with , AK-47 , M16 , AR15R etc it makes them to be suspected criminals like bandits , terrorist or kidnappers and the proper thing to do is to hand them over to the police and not kill them .
