BENIN CITY, EDO: Yesterday, the hardworking security operatives in Edo State apprehended suspected cultists with gvns in their car. Their mission remains unclear. Same yesterday, the Edo task force stated that Courage (Maphite) was k**led over a revenue collection dispute, and that the retaliatory attack on Amen (Aye) was also a revenue-related retaliation. We acknowledge their position. However, Naija Confra stands firmly by its findings regarding those responsible, based on information received directly from members of the groups involved. While some are happy and quick to say Courage was k**led over revenue issues, they quickly blamed Maphite for Amen’s de@th, forgetting that the same task force also described Amen’s k**ling as revenue-related. In the past, some were quick to accuse authorities of fak£ news and twisting reports, but today, the same people suddenly accept the reports of the authorities, simply because they believe it may discredit Naija Confra. While some are happy and quick to say Courage was k**led over revenue issues, they quickly blamed Maphite for Amen’s de@th, forgetting that the same task force also described Amen’s k**ling as revenue-related. In the past, some were quick to accuse authorities of fak£ news and twisting reports, but today, the same people suddenly accept the reports of the authorities, simply because they believe it may discredit Naija Confra.
