Okay Melanie. It’s been five months of this congressional session. You’ve had plenty of time to draft a bill of your own, but didn’t. Personally, I prefer stand alone bills. One piece of legislation at a time. Five months, five single bills. Is that too much to ask?

It’s also unfortunate that Pam Bondi seems to believe that the DOJ is the personal attorney for the President of the United States, rather than serving the interests of America, the rule of law, and our democracy. That’s what’s truly unfortunate. It’s also unfortunate that we no longer have an independent DOJ, and that now it’s up to Democratic attorneys general, who are standing up to ensure that our liberties, our freedoms, and our democracy are protected, and that our systems and institutions are respected. That’s what we do, and that’s why we’re here.
