While we're honoring Steve Spurrier today, never forget his iconic interview from South Carolina's 2015 fall camp: 😂

In Football Coaching This is known as Poor Mouthing your team. Of course, maybe Spurrier wasn’t poor mouthing after all the 2015 South Carolina Gamecocks finished with 3–9 record and a 1–7 SEC record.

He wasnt lying they went 3-9 That season lol

So disgusted by that team he quit less than 2 months later!

Quit on his team in the middle of the season.

Head Ball Coach made college football fun 👍

🐐

Quit before he could lose to @CitadelFootball Cc: @TheyAlreadyKnew

I really miss the head ball coach! Nobody has been like him since.

Hate seeing this video glorified. This was right before he quit on the team & program. Looking back this is honestly abhorrent. Didn't want to tarnish his precious "no losing season" farce 😒

Grew up a die hard nole, but man I love spurrier! Smart, cocky and let you know about it.

Steve would end up quitting about six games in they were that bad

@BradPowers7 @JohnDBrice1 your boy! Ha

Met him in a hotel in Nashville in 1999. Couldn’t have been any nicer. Just a great guy.

@BCrawford247 What’s funny is he was actually right

I would say he actually made duke respectful. But so has manny Diaz so is manny Diaz the next spurrier?

Went to the Kentucky game before he quit that year and always wondered why his qb recruits were so bad at that point . Perry orth played i think . It was his fault is my point and wack ending at sc

. 😍😍😍

F that Prick

The #Vols took his soul in November 2014. Never was the same after that night.
