like i swear im not trying to be rude i just LITERALLY think Roger's Sonic like 14 years ago is considerably better than his performance as Sonic in current year his voice sounds lower and more monotone to me and I feel like he says his lines slower Im not into it

Despite its shortcomings as a movie-long retelling, I still really like the UBW movie. I like seeing DEEN on a bigger budget, Kawai going all out on the OST, and then there's this incredible bit of voice acting by Tomokazu Seki in the climax. Gilgamesh at his hammiest so far.

Given that it’s Ridley Scott Week, I think now is as good of a time as any to revisit The Last Duel. Written by Nicole Holofcener, Ben Affleck, and Matt Damon, I think this is one of Scott’s better films in the last 15 years largely because the writing is so strong. That’s without mentioning that the entire cast is also excellent. I really, really enjoy Damon’s performance here. This film is proof that even in his 80s, Ridley still has his fastball.
