the thing about Demy is how he was a master at making sure we always saw the full bodies of his performers while still beautifully composing for a widescreen frame, like the iconic sequence with Gene Kelly:

I've now been cursed to try and recall the indie pop artist who used this scene (or something very similar) in her music video, circa 2009. I have limited information otherwise. Dang it. Great Tweet though!
