I can honestly say that I would not be the man I am today without his leadership. As a late teen, I learned of Voddie from a distance; his ministry equipped me with certainty that if ever I were to have children, that it is my responsibility-not the government's-to educate them. His ministry also initiated my journey as an independent researcher. I later got to have an actual friendship with Voddie. We spoke frequently and he would often text me funny memes, share articles and books I should read and give me feedback on things I was working on. Voddie lived a life that was unapologetically devoted to the Lord, and now he is with the Lord. I will see you again one day in glory, friend. Godspeed.
