On Monday (Aug. 25), the Dallas News reported Beezy's trial date has been set for Feb. 2, 2026. He has a pre-trial hearing slated to take place on Jan. 9, 2026. Yella Beezy is accused of paying a hitman to murder Mo3 due to an ongoing feud between the rappers. Mo3 was gunned down on Interstate 35 in November of 2020. Kewon Dontrell White and Devin Maurice Brown have also been charged in connection with Mo3's killing, with White being accused of being the triggerman. If convicted, Yella Beezy could face life in prison without the possibility of parole or the death penalty.
