@White_Ghost187 So. She should have stopped arguing with the detective about her mother. If this happens to you, remain silent and don't sign anything. Just say "I want a lawyer.".

The officer requested her to sign the Miranda Rights form so she understood her rights prior to questioning. She refused to sign. This is a point a lot of people are missing. If she would have signed the form she didn’t have to say anything to the officer and yes she would have been arrested. But she was arrested anyway. Moot point. The officer was following his protocol. The girl was of legal age and didn’t need her mother present. She didn’t sign the form, resisted arrest, and went to jail. All because she couldn’t follow the officer’s instructions. That is all that needed to happen and things would have turned out different.

@White_Ghost187 He told her it was her Miranda. He cannot question her to get a statement if she doesn’t sign she understands her rights. He was not asking her to sign a statement, she didn’t give a statement she talked over him and ignored him. I heard him clearly say it.

@White_Ghost187 He knew that she knew exactly what was happening. She only wanted to find out how much evidence they had. He wouldn't arrest without a pattern of evidence, or it would open up the department to wrongful arrest suite. Don't buy into the emotion, she knows she's guilty as hell.
