Taking into account the massive popularity of Xenoblade, i'm amazed they never remastered this.

The era where rpgs were trying to create mmos but for single player

I remember buying it many years ago, and the cover caught my attention, but I never played it and I still have it in my collection

I loved those games. they need a remaster, maybe with the online capabilities restored too for the online mode.

I forgot about this game, & wish it would've stayed that way - it was a boring slog & a generic trope-stapled campaign of generic trope-stapled campaigns. The only mildly acceptable bit was the steampunk city towards the end of it (yet felt like the middle - damn sequel bait!)

@TalesofTofu The original concept trailer of this was so much better. This was a downgrade….

With all the FFXI on the TL recently, this game was the closest thing to FFXI that wasn't FFXI.

Amazing. One of the best RPGs of the gen. The storyline in the original was memorable - the added on parts of 'WKC2'.. not so much. Amazing levels and areas to explore.

白騎士物語 当時にしてはキャラクタークリエイト悪くなかったし、光と闇の覚醒で悪かったテンポも多少改善されて良かった。 オンラインモードの人が居なさすぎたのは 悲しかった。アークナイトのカスタマイズ要素も面倒やったな。一応クリアまでは頑張ったのは良い思い出。

If SIE brings this back, and I hope they do, because fighting massive enemies as a suit of armor the size of a Kaiju paired with more action-oriented combat would kick so much ass. Definitely ways to design it with exciting new ideas. Could work with Clovers or Eel Game Studio.

Loved that WKC2 had the first game in its entirety along with the fixes to the battle system that WKC2 got. The town system was fun and having your own avatar for MP was cool. Just wish WKC2 was followed by the planned sequel where your avatar was the main character.

OMG this shit was so fly for 2010, it was like the last ps2 rpg even though it was on ps3

Great game, miss playing it online had made some cool friends we had a whole guild village and everything

I actually liked this JRPG a lot. Maybe it's just Nostalgia, but the Knight mechanics were rather really dope and the fact your custom made character is there and can have one of their own really made it a unique experience.

With today's tech, this game would thrive. It was ahead of its time. I played 2 nor too long ago.

Also, the online community features were AMAZING. You just had to be there at it's prime. Such a cool idea.

I absolutely loved this game and it was so good to stay up late endless nights meeting new people and enjoying this at the time. If they ever made a modern game the same way or even a remaster with online functionality I'd never be off it!
