How do you respond to something that has no point? What the hell is she talking about?

Strange how anything remotely related to cotton is problematic due to slavery while tobacco and sugar are not.

Cotton is a cool plant. Little white fluffy balls. Very aesthetically pleasing. Shame she can't enjoy the natural beauty without being triggered by something long in the past that does not affect her. Some people choose to be miserable and then force that misery on others. The people who cooked her mind are scum.

One of many things you romanticize is to keep complaining about everything... (all the time)

The point is that you’re victimizing yourself for views. Stop being ignorant and hypocritical.

This is dumb. It's a local crop. In central Florida people have citrus paraphernalia in their homes and businesses.

I have it in vases and in my door decorations. I have picked cotton myself and so did my father and his father. It is a 6 week crop so the season isnt long and many in my family made a living working on cotton pickers (machines not slaves) and crop dusting. It is still a product of value all over the world. I knit and crochet with it. If it offends people, there are things other people do that offends me like loud music, stupid behavior, calling me a redneck like it is a bad thing, etc but I just ignore it. I dont look for stuff to be offended about to make content for the internet. Cotton would have already been banned or deleted if it wasn't so useful and nice so I celebrate it and other plants that are unique to where I live.

It's almost as though they don't realize that there were white sharecroppers as well, and there were fully white run farms during slavery. I have family that grew up picking cotton and besides that can you honestly look at a field full of ripe cotton and say that it looks ugly. It's a beautiful thing. And half of the people getting mad about it probably don't even have any direct ancestors that were actually slaves. They think that because they're black they are automatically descendants of slaves and didn't bother to check and see if that was true.

Someone want to tell this dumb bitch what that shirt she is wearing is made from? Cotton is everywhere in the South. There are families that have survived generations by growing and selling it. Get OVER it. I'm Irish - check into their history....

She has no idea how lucky her ancestors were to get a free ride. Take a listen to what other blacks have said about life back in Ghana and Nigeria. Ain't nobody want your bullshit girl.

Her linguistic and cognition abilities shown here (being able to connect cotton with slavery, "wearing black skin", etc) puts her in the top 15% of her cohorts. The rest really do just operate on, "You'sa whole ass bitch ass nigga you pick the wrong one!" level 24/7.

IF she bothered to read history, then she’d know North had black market for cotton to supply garment factories DURING the war

Well, for me personally… my Grandparents, parents, and my self all picked cotton. We were the poor crackers, or the “Rednecks” who wore the red handkerchiefs o pound their necks to keep them from burning in the sun. Now, for us, it is an aesthetic of the past

Shit. I better buy more cotton then. BTW. I have seen cotton plants used as decor in some Japanese hotels. With other fresh flowers. Are they racist in their homogeneous society?
