Whitehouse: "There's an unfathomable difference between a seeming facade being constructed around this nominee here today and what he has actually done and said in real life...if you look at history you see the danger of security chiefs in authoritarian regimes becoming the tools of political power"

In any other universe, there is no way that imagine Kash Patel, RFK Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard getting confirmed. Yet here we are and I for one am terrified

In May, the target was Robert Fico. In July, it was Donald Trump. The pattern of these attacks is becoming clearer. Who could be next?

The Deep State absolutely fears Kash Patel; this is just another attempt to distort his record and take his statements out of context.

Alex Karp just wrote the most honest shareholder letter in corporate history. Honest in a way nobody in his position is supposed to be. He didn’t mention synergies. He mentioned killing people. Karp: “We have dedicated our company to the service of the West and the United States of America.” While Silicon Valley spent a decade performing neutrality, Palantir was at war. Literally. In countries Karp can’t name. Karp: “Super proud of the role we play, especially in places we can’t talk about.” Not being coy. Being careful. There’s a difference. No CEO in the history of public markets has said what came next. Karp: “And when it’s necessary to scare enemies and on occasion kill them.” Then directly to his investors: “And we hope you’re in favor of that.” No apology. No qualifier. Just a man asking if his shareholders have the stomach for what they actually own. Then he turned to Wall Street. Dismissed analysts who can’t handle “the burden of actually looking at the math” or “the burden of being honest about what an enterprise software company is.” He wasn’t talking to them anymore. He was done with them. Every other company buries what they do in footnote 47 between legal disclaimers and risk disclosures. Karp put it in the headline. Then looked around the room to see who was still standing. That’s not a shareholder letter. That’s a man telling you exactly who he is and exactly what he built and daring you to look away.
