Being a man is not determined by a checklist of interests, hobbies, appearances, or behaviors. Masculinity is far more diverse than many people are willing to admit. And even the dog analogy he used is so flawed, there are various homosexual animals out there, what he did was selective bias, look around every aspect of life, Versatility and differences are integral to uniqueness, whether you like it or not. Reducing manhood to a narrow set of stereotypes only exposes the ignorance behind the preaching. What really grates is the sheer hypocrisy: a senior politician demanding extra security for himself while championing open borders and mass, unvetted immigration that leaves British communities less safe. Zack Polanski, the Green Party leader, appeared on BBC Breakfast this morning demanding better protection for himself after the tragic death of Ann Widdecombe. He even complained that so far he hasn’t been offered anything at all. Yet this is the same man who pushes for open borders and would welcome the world into our communities with open arms, regardless of vetting or numbers. While British families deal with the daily consequences of mass, uncontrolled immigration, including strained services, rising crime in too many areas, lives taken, families destroyed, and entire communities changed forever against the wishes of those who live there, Polanski and his party treat concerns about safety and sustainability as taboo. Politicians do face growing threats, and Widdecombe’s killing is a grim reminder. But the hypocrisy stings. Demanding armed guards and security details for themselves while actively working to flood the very streets ordinary people must walk with unvetted arrivals. You can’t lecture the public about compassion and “no one is illegal” on one hand, then insist on special protection when the risks you helped import come knocking. Safety shouldn’t be a luxury reserved for the political class. If it’s a real concern, apply the same logic to the British people first.

Last night, The Senate voted (77-19) to advance a bipartisan short-term funding measure (CR) to avoid a government shutdown at the end of the week.
