Helicopters. Quick survey. How many people have experienced RAF & AAC crews just landing outside the mess and scrounging breakfast (2 sausages). I'm convinced that they go around collecting breakfasts.

Not a Brit soldier but I totally got this and it's hilarious.

I got asked by the provo Sgt at a barracks in Hamlin (RE), why I had to keep using the square to land on and not the playing field as it messed up his daily car parking plan. Amazingly I had to point out what the big yellow ‘H’ meant and that his CO wouldn’t like dirty boots! 🤷‍♂️
