Ariel Helwani is asked to share his thoughts on recent comments from Michael Bisping and “Flat Earth” Froch: “My takeaway was I felt really sad for Michael Bisping, because I can’t imagine what it would be like to have once been a ‘bad boy,’ to once be a ‘rule breaker,’ a pioneer, a trailblazer, a guy who marches to the beat of his own drum — to be that guy who did whatever the hell he wanted and didn’t kowtow and didn’t shill — was a rebel. That’s who Michael Bisping was. And the guy that I was watching in that clip in particular, and the guy we have seen over the past year or so — what he has morphed into, what he has turned into — is the polar opposite of that guy. And he knows this. And he has to look at himself in the mirror each and every day and pretend that he is still that guy, and pretend like perhaps that guy never existed, when he knows he has morphed into this zombie, this shill, this guy who has had his brain infected by this virus, all because he wants someone to be like: ‘Good on ya, mate — here’s 5K to call the next Apex card, and please do your best to put over how great all this is. And if you do a good job, we’ll pat you on the head and give you the next big slap fighting gig at the Fontainebleau.’ This is what he is striving for. He is striving for someone to say, ‘Thank you for doing that. Thank you for saying that about big bad, ugly Ariel Helwani,’ so that maybe someday he could get on — I don’t know — that Fight Night in Austin, Texas. And then maybe, maybe, just one day, if something happens to DC, if something happens to Dominick Cruz, and something happens to Rogan, then maybe he can get that PPV. All to get there. That’s exactly what he’s become. He’s become the guy who will do anything in his power to get favor with his bosses — as much as he doesn’t want to admit that — just so that he could get that opportunity, that big break, that big fight at your local Apex, your local arena, at some random place in America. And so he has to turn to this. And that’s a bummer, because I remember the old guy. The old guy was actually a really good friend. And all of a sudden, he just changed, and he says all these things and makes up all these stories and has all this vitriol towards me — someone that has never done anything but support him, but have his back. I’ve told the stories many, many times… He now teams up with Flat Earth Froch, who can’t stop talking about me — even though he says he doesn’t want to talk about me — but all he does is talk about me.” Ariel Helwani #TheArielHelwaniShow

The translator Anton Hur shared a story about how RM “saves” the Korean literature and about his impact on publishers and sales. 👦🏻 My favorite live-saving, Namjoon story that I have is that…so a long time ago, I picked up this book by Lee Seong Bok about their aphorisms, about his poetry writing, about his poetics. It’s a very obscure topic, who reads about poetics?! But I read this book, it’s called ‘Indeterminate Inflorescence’ and I loved it! I was like, ‘Oh this is the life book, it’s like it contains all of my artistic ambitions in this one book but no one is going to publish it because no one is going to allow me to translate a book about Korean poetics so but I did find one publisher, it’s not even in New York, it’s in Seattle…And one tiny publisher that said ‘Okay, we’ll publish this book’, and then, a month before this book was supposed to come out, Namjoon posted about the aphorisms by Lee Seong Bok and when I saw that I thought like the angels were singing in the heaven and like manna was raining on me…I could not believe that this was happening and then like the first print got sold out, the second, the third got sold out. This tiny book that you know, it wasn’t a hit in Korea, it was like completely obscure. When I mentioned in Korea people were like ‘Lee Seong Bok wrote a book about aphorisms?’ like even if they know who Lee Seong Bok is…And now we have a, I think they’ll allow me to announce it but we have a deal for Lee Seong Bok’s poetry collection that summer’s end, that also Namjoon posted so I’m just so grateful to RM for saving Korean literature! 🔗 🔗 #RM #방탄소년단RM #김남준 #BTSRM

This is Marilyn Marks with the Coalition for Good Governance. She appears to be pre-bunking what might come from the FBI’s raid in Georgia. She wants people to know that bad things happened in Georgia in 2020 but it was not enough to affect the outcome of the election. Jessica Denson is a propagandist for Democracy Inc. and she has ties to Protect Democracy who represented her when she sued Trump to get out of her NDA. She appears to also be in the know so she too is pre-bunking what’s coming by claiming that an expert said that Biden won even with all of the issues. Marilyn said that in Fulton County, they fudged the numbers, there were many irregularities/thousands and thousands of votes, records have been destroyed, chain of custody issues, and the recount and the audit were not of any quality. She also said that after the FBI looks at the evidence, it is going to show known errors that were certified (of a significant amount) and that the officials knew that the audit was bad and that when they were getting ready to do the recount, they were coming up short so they took ballots and scanned and counted them two and three times and it wasn’t accidental which ballots they scanned, and even included 250 test ballots to make the numbers come out right. They also throw Brad Raffensperger under the bus including for the inadequate vote and recount method as he did not want the machines to be questioned or the errors to show up because he chose the Dominion voting machines. Brad also apparently pressure people into not showing the problems. Marilyn says that even though people have been commenting (after the FBI raid) that 2020 has been audited three times, what they aren’t saying is that the wrong numbers were used in the audit and in the recount. She then tries to blame both Raffensperger and Trump. Marilyn also says that Raffensperger broke the law when he said to just run the ballots back through the machine instead of conducting a hand count. She said the numbers could have been fudged by using the voting machines. My question is, how does she know all of this and why didn’t she say anything while Trump and everyone else were being persecuted by Norm Eisen’s lawfare proxy Fani Willis? Marilyn is part of Democracy Inc. so I think she was purposefully sent out to establish narratives. If I were Pam Bondi, I would subpoena her ASAP.

When it comes to personal finance, people somehow keep making the same mistakes over and over again. There’s very little creativity in the mistakes people make. Take investing. Pretty much every influencer, every serious finance writer, and the financial media have been screaming for years: don’t mix insurance with investments. ULIPs are usually a bad idea. Endowment policies are usually a bad idea. And yet, ULIP sales continue to grow and endowment plans continue to be sold. People continue to fall for the same pitches, despite all the articles, videos, and excel sheets explaining why these products are bad. The same applies to health insurance, though I have a little more sympathy there. Health insurance is genuinely complicated. There are tiny clauses, room rent caps, waiting periods, exclusions, and conditions that most people don’t fully understand and then they find out the hard way, when they still have to pay out of pocket despite having a policy. But with products like ULIPs and endowment plans, there’s no excuse. These are not impossibly complicated products. Even a cursory Google search will tell you the problem. And today, in 2026, you can just ask ChatGPT or Claude whether a product is a good idea, and they’ll usually show you the math, explain the catches, and give you pointers on what to do. And yet, people still keep falling for the same thing. Prateek Singh from Zero1 by Zerodha has made a really nice video on some of the biggest mistakes Indians make with investing and health insurance. It’s worth watching, and sharing with your friends and family too.

Not 100% accurate 💬: “You got a devil tattoo?” 🖤: “Yes, I’ve actually always liked tattoos. My dad was covered in them.” 💬: “Your dad is a gangster!?” 😂 🖤: “No, he has dragon tattoos and things like that. Black dragons. I’ve seen them since I was a kid. So I ended up liking them too and got interested in them. But my mom is the complete opposite.” 💬: “Then what tattoos does your mom have? This one is a dragon, this one is a cat.” 🖤: “No, no, my mom is super clean-cut and doesn’t like tattoos at all. I’ve been hearing her scold my dad about them ever since I was a little kid. And now, in my generation, I’m still getting scolded too. Like when I got my first tattoo…” 💬: “Just asking for fun, did your mom say anything?” 🖤: “Oh wow, what do you think?” 😭😂 💬: “Sorry, Mom. Let me apologize on his behalf.” 💬: “What did you get tattooed? A devil?” 🖤: “I also have tattoos lower down. I’m planning for that whole area to be devil-themed. I have Lucifer on the right side. No one will ever see that one because it’s placed very high up. And on the left side there’s a devil face, with horns.” 💬: “So today you’re going to show your tattoos on the program?” 👀😂 🖤: “Want to see?” starts pretending to take his pants off 😂 🤍: “Heyyy! Calm down! Oiiii! This guy is always ready to show off!” 😭😂 //Not Perth being ready to show the tattoo before the question was even finished. 😭🤣 PERTHSANTA TALK WITH KATANYU #KATANYUTONIGHTxPerthSanta

Yesterday we told you about the collaboration. Today, all the details are out. First, the big one: Madonna has confirmed that L.E.S. Girl — the closing track of Confessions II — stands for Lower East Side Girl. As many of you had already suspected. 🖤 Now, the full picture. Madonna is partnering with Bilt to cover one month of rent for every musician at New York’s iconic Music Building in Midtown — the rehearsal and living space where she first found her sound in the early ’80s. In a video Madonna made for Bilt, she also shares the story of how she ended up there: she was living illegally in a building in the Garment District with no heat in the dead of winter, sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag surrounded by space heaters — and accidentally started an electrical fire. She woke up surrounded by flames. With nowhere else to go, she escaped to the Music Building on 8th Avenue. “Artists arrive every day to New York with a dream and more often than not with little else,” Madonna said. “I look back very fondly on this time in my life.” The collaboration also includes: 🎉 Confessions II release parties on July 3 in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago 🎵 A limited edition vinyl with custom artwork and exclusive photos by Raphael Pavarotti, for Bilt members — we talked about it on our previous tweet 🎰 Madonna as featured contestant on Bilt’s game show Rent Free — members can win up to $2,500 in rent A full-circle moment for an artist who arrived in this city with nothing — and changed it forever. 🚨Brooklyn Home Invasion Fear Grows as Residents Turn to Firearms Training for Protection🚨 Fear is rising across Brooklyn as reports of home invasions continue to worry residents in neighborhoods like Sheepshead Bay, Midwood, and Gravesend. One homeowner says he was forced to act when suspects allegedly tried breaking into his home while his family was inside. “I right away ran for my gun and brought my family to safety,” he said. “My family comes first. I’m not waiting for police when seconds matter.” The homeowner says he now feels more confident after receiving training through My First Pistol and legally purchasing his firearm from Samson Armory at 2938 Avenue R in Brooklyn. Michael Bergida, the owner of My First Pistol and Samson Armory, says demand has surged as fear spreads. He claims over 1,000 New Yorkers have gone through licensing and training through his program in the past year alone. “We don’t always have time for the cops to show up,” Mike said. “It’s a matter of life and death.” He also stated “The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.” He added that many customers have told him they were able to defend themselves during attempted home invasions because they were prepared. As crime concerns continue across the city, more residents say they are turning to legal firearm ownership and training before becoming victims.
