My brother neither you or anyone, have a monopoly on the Yoruba language or its interpretations. Yoruba is rich and layered, its proverbs carry depth, context, and often multiple meanings depending on when and how they’re used. I’ve heard several interpretations of that same proverb, just like many others in Yoruba that don’t point to a single conclusion. Share your perspective, but leave room for others too, different views don’t make yours invalid. I dont approve or dissaprove your point either, its just another view point.
