I watched a documentary about "American Gladiators". They were a wild bunch. Steroids, other drugs, crazy sex. Wild times!

I fucking loved that show

The dude in blue actually won the race. He got ripped off

The tennis ball gun was the best.

wish they would bring this show back

Back to back with WWF Superstars. Saturday Mornings have never been the same.

Umm this was my childhood! The video game for Sega was also amazing for a 6yr old!

The joust was the best event, aside from the final event when it included the rocket launcher.

Ice was awesome. #americangladiators

Two Scoops was killing those bulky gladiators lol

This and MXC!

Did American Ninja come after this? I think that’s what it’s called now …

Loved the show and saw the tour

Remember when Nitro got his ass whooped? #americangladiators

Show was awesome and so wasn't the nes 8 bit video game

You see how they dropped the big ball on the blue dude at the end thst slowed him down a ton and they completely waited to drop the other ball on the red guy until he was way past it

🙋♂️

This and Legends of the Hidden Temple were my favorites growing up.

The American Gladiators documentary on Netflix was pretty eye-opening.

American Gladiator is still more fun to watch than Whipeout or American Ninja Warrior. And I'm not sure why. It's probably the professional gladiators.

Wesley “2 Scoops” Berry was the man on American Gladiators

Fun fact. In 1986, they started filming a pilot for a version where ordinary people ran the same course. 40 years later those competitors are still trying to climb the ramp. Begining to think the pilot will not make it to air…

I lived close to where American Gladiators was filmed. My US History teacher in 11th grade was one of the referees. He wasn’t one that you saw on camera, but he did show up every now and again on my tv. Good times.

1st pic shows it done correctly: ball dropped in front of & impeding Blue. 2nd pic shows ball dropped well behind Red. zero impediment, thus gifted a straight shot to the finish line. that wasn't an accident, lol. Blue was cheated. 🤷♂️

I always watched this growing up, they just added it on prime.

Show was so damn cool

Ngl this show was lit back then

I did

Meee!!!! Haha

Why does the name Blaze come to mind

This was such an awesome show to watch.

Blue got cheated. Hung up by the ball at the end. And they didn’t even throw the ball at the ind for the red team. Smfh.

: I never missed an episode of 'American Gladiator!' 🔥
