You don’t have to make everything political, they say as they make this issue political. I said this was just embarrassing because it was such an unforced error to hand the opposition, more ammunition for no reason. But at the same time, he wasn’t on duty. He was there for work and took the night off to celebrate with some friends of his because he plays hockey and he’s friends with a bunch of NHL guys so he actually isn’t the one making it political. Patel was a hockey bro as a podcaster. These guys undoubtedly followed him then. Check his X feed. He talked about going the Olympics a year ago. The men's team are Trump supporters. The USA hockey community is as well. JackHughes alluded to both in his first post game interview. There were no adults in that room. It was a shitshow.
