@susannareid100 @edballs Too many prefer sitting on the sofa, smoking, and spending their benefit down the boozer, as opposed to getting their a*se out to work.

@susannareid100 @edballs Eddie bollcks defending his wife's party as usual and talking absolute bollcks

@susannareid100 @edballs The gov's “back to work” plan ignores the real issue: stagnant wages, soaring living costs, and record levels of job insecurity. No one’s gonna work if they can't survive! 💸

@susannareid100 @edballs Until you have been hit with a disability, you could not contemplate how hard it is! It's a full-time job in itself One you get no weekends off,no holidays, bank holidays it is full time all of the time! I used to be a bricklayer, and that was a doddle compared to disability!

@susannareid100 @edballs 47% of benefit recipients are already in work. We just prop up poor pay by companies. Is this idea really worth it - there are far bigger losses in tax fraud.

It’s correct that some people game the system, and as annoying as that is, the blame can’t be apportioned to those people. If it wasn’t so appealing (and easy for these folk) to claim benefits instead of working, they wouldn’t do it. The system needs to change rather than hunting down individuals. I’m sure we all know of people who are better off financially by not working. Of course, I’m not talking about anyone with a legitimate health restriction.

@susannareid100 @edballs Talk about set the question to get the answers you want. Who is going to respond and say ‘oh yes that’s me, I’m a shirker’.

@susannareid100 @edballs I’m sorry, but youngsters think things should be handed to them on a plate. I have two young adult children, both of them work full time. One of them has two jobs. They both work very hard and do you know what they say to me at least I know I’ve had my own money.

@susannareid100 @edballs If find it difficult to understand targeting people who are genuinely sick to boost the economy, while Keir Starmer funds millions of pounds for the upkeep of illegal immigrants to live life of luxury in private housing and hotels who he fought through the courts to keep here
