This tipping culture is going out of hand now in US. Here's my unpopular opinion- tipping should be optional, and those who don't want to tip, shouldn't be forced or shamed to tip.

just charge $200, don't mention any tips if that's what you think your time and expertise is worth. Don't play games with your clients who keep your lights on.

Customer is right, you should be able to choose how much you want to tip or at the very least, your policy and price should’ve been made clear to the customer before they got their nails done. $80 tip is 66%, which is way beyond the average tip margin for services.
