Let me repeat… He was the last player picked to our team at 14… and made it farther than anyone else on that team. How? By not comparing his journey to anyone else’s and by outworking everyone ahead of him. For all the kids out there who may feel out of it - this is how it’s done. Control the things you can control. And GET. TO. WORK. A lot of really talented players get passed by absolute workers when all is said and done. Mike is a great example, and it was so awesome talking to him about his journey on our latest podcast episode.
