WHO IS NCAA: A DEEP DIVE INTO WHAT THE CIVIL AVIATION REGULATOR DOES, AND WHY IT MUST KEEP ITS TSC TO GUARANTEE THE SAFETY OF AIR PASSENGERS

The National Assembly @HouseNGR and the @NGRSenate has a duty to strengthen not weaken our safety architecture. Funding decisions should reinforce the NCAA’s capacity to inspect, certify, train, and enforce compliance. Aviation safety must never be compromised.

This is very detailed and educative, and I must commend the NCAA and the current leadership. If I recall correctly, the last plane crash in Nigeria was in 2021 involving a Nigerian Air Force Beechcraft 350 aircraft and we have not recorded any commercial plane crash incident since 2012. This didn't by chance or luck, but a cumulative result of hard work, strict regulations, and the enforcement efforts of all the authorities involved. Once again, well done, sir, for shedding light on these numerous moving parts, that a layman like me who just buys a ticket and enter a plane would not have known.

@cpdncaa Very detailed and informative video

My former instructor would always say "it's better to be on the ground and wish you were up in the skies than being in the skies and wish you were down on the ground". Great video, kudos!

This should be a mandatory watch before every flight honestly

I fly like twice a year and never once thought about who’s checking the pilot before takeoff

Honestly didn't know the difference between NCAA and the airlines till now. This explained it better than any press release could

Very educative and thought provoking. Thank you, sir.

🎯

This is the kind of content NCAA should be putting out more. Plain language, no grammar just facts

Never knew NCAA actually inspects the pilots and engineers directly, not just paperwork. Learned something today👏

The fact that NCAA isn't the airline or the service provider finally makes sense to me now

The CAA is already underfunded, Government through the supervising ministry should see to it that the safety of flying public is highly protected. The TSC sharing debate should be dead on arrival. There is no way a service provider should be at par with it's regulator! QED

Very explanatory and educative.

This is educative and insightful. Thanks for sharing .

Quite informative bro.

Lol! You need to understand aviation to see pass what the Director is trying to do here. Trying to provoke public pressure on @nassnigeria … The NASS is rightly trying to favor NAMA with the TSC cut, who are currently at longhorns with NiMet.

A strong aviation regulator isn't noticed when everything goes right—it's noticed because disasters are prevented before they happen. Safety is built on strict standards, not luck. ✈️

Will be there

I'll check this out later

God bless you sir! This is a well explained lecture. You’re doing great sir. Remain blessed.

Is that what theydo

He's clear on this

It’s good to know what NCAA is

Wow 😮 This is interesting

"Road no be runway" is staying with me for the rest of the week 😂 but the point landed

😀

Very educative

I need to look into it

Utter ignorance, are you deliberately being clever or just trying to guard your pot of soup?

A guaranteed ZERO BUDGET SLICE for NCAA

Well done bros.

The biggest takeaway here isn't just the raw delivery; it’s the clarity on why the NCAA must protect its TSC to ensure passenger safety. Stripping away the technical jargon makes critical aviation policies accessible to the average Nigerian. Every agency needs this level of articulation. 🧠📡

Okay that's a good insight

NCAA ensures air safety through its regulations and TSC
