When Meghan gave birth to Prince Archie, this was the tweet that BBC personality sent. You know, “the accidental racism” they are defending🙃

“I’m living it right now in this conversation.”

Every Black person ever listening to a conversation like this:

Everyone else on the panel: "What are we going to do about changing the way we unfairly talk about all these white people being called out for their racism."😬🙄

Pull up a chair… She’s @afuahirsch and she’s extraordinary. For many years a lone voice on toxic panels like this. She’s an outstanding writer, broadcaster and activist. I don’t know her personally, but she strikes me as a good human. Please seek out her work - enjoy.

Her name is Afua Hirsch. Educated, smart as whip, erudite and I afraid to speak truth. She is a legend.

Afua was amazing here, the look she gave that tap dancer was exactly what I was thinking when he was speaking 🤸‍♀️🤸‍♀️

And to be clear there is no difference between intended and accidential racism for Black people. The result is the same. If you want to redeem yourself, figure out what your microaggressions are and fix that behavior BEFORE you find yourself between a rock and a hard place.
