Who is The Lubavitcher Rebbe?

No shit even my peasant Catholic grandma (pbuh) from the Hungarian steppe knew abt - and cherished - the Rebbe. She explained him to me as "the Jewish Pope" when I was a boy 😅. One of a kind that man.

Nobody can fill his shoes, is a huge absence when he is so need it.

To clarify-- the Rebbe for years gave dollar bills to everyone in a massive line-- for the purpose of giving to charity. (less someone sees it, G-d forbid, as something else.)
